Leica Disto ™ D3aBT

The Leica DISTO™ D3a is now available with Bluetooth® Wireless Technology. Measurement results can be wirelessly and accurately transferred to Pocket PCs and PCs. The Leica DISTO™ D3a BT is equipped with the same key features as the Leica DISTO™ D3a such as "Smart Horizontal Mode™, tilt sensor, calculation possibilities for rectangular and triangular areas, volumes, room dimensions and various types of Pythagoras functions.

Error-free data transfer due to Bluetooth™
With integrated Bluetooth® Technology, measurement results can be wirelessly and accurately transferred to Pocket PCs and PCs. You can easily process your data in Excel®, Word®, AutoCAD® and other compatible programs. The AutoCAD® Plug-In offers a convenient drawing by using the AutoCAD® software. The navigation keys of the Leica DISTO™ D3a BT provide a further advantage as the movements of the cursor on the PC can be controlled. The scope of delivery includes the transfer software "Leica DISTO™ Transfer" – it is easy to install with automatic updates.

Smart Horizontal Mode™
In this mode the Leica DISTO™ D3a BT measures a distance and a tilt. From these two values it calculates automatically the horizontal distance. The measuring precision is increased considerably in a very easy way with this function. Furthermore it can be measured over any obstructions without any problems. This is a decisive advantage when in crowded interiors and furnished buildings.

Multiple functions
The Leica DISTO™ D3a BT can calculate rectangular and triangular areas, volumes, room dimensions and various types of Pythagoras functions. A time delay release and enough memory for up to 20 measurements round off the instruments wide range of functions – a concept designed to make work life easier.

Brilliant and clearly arranged display
The results are displayed on the large (2"), clearly arranged and high contrast display. At the touch of a button, the display makes supplementary information available about the measurements, e.g. indirect height, room dimensions, angle information or room angles.

Despite all this functionality, the Leica DISTO™ D3a BT is simple to operate and extremely easy to handle. The robust design with IP 54 protection keeps the instrument safe from dust and splash water.
