Roadworks 3D

The optional, powerful new Roadworks 3D application significantly extends the functionality of your Leica TPS800. It adds a complete road alignment package to your instrument and thus increases your flexibility on alignment and slope stake out on the entire work site. Easy to learn and use, it only requires a minimum of learning time and is characterised by an intuitive and straight-forward work flow.

Roadworks 3D manages horizontal and vertical alignments made up of different elements. Alignments can be uploaded with the supplied PC software or easily be created on the instrument.

Use Roadworks 3D to improve your work when you perform alignment and slope stake out as well as check measurement tasks!

TraversePRO

The TraversePRO application is used to establish control networks whereby other survey operations such as topographic surveys or point stake outs can be completed. The TraversePRO methods include:

• 2D Helmert transformation If you select 2D Helmert the traverse will be adjusted by a 2D Helmert transformation. Shift, Rotation and Scale factor will be computed and applied to the traverse.
• Compass rule If you select Compass Rule the coordinate misclosure will be distributed with respect to the length of the traverse legs. The Compass Rule assumes that the biggest error comes from the longest traverse observations. This method is suitable when the precision of the angles and distances are approximately equal.
• Transit rule If you select Transit Rule the coordinate misclosure will be distributed with respect to the coordinate changes in Easting and Northing. Use this method if the angles were measured with a higher precision than the distances

Mining

The software combines the success of the well established TPS400 mining software with the full flexibility of the FlexLine Series. This program has been developed with data security as being of the utmost importance.

Via a password arrangement, the Surveyor in charge has the task of setting the tolerances for the survey and uploading the necessary data for use underground. These parameters are uploaded into the instrument and only those entrusted with the password can change these parameters. This program covers the main underground surveying tasks such as carrying out a Peg Survey, setting Line Pegs, setting out Grade lines and performing pickups underground by the Offset method. As well as these mining specific tasks, the menu contains all standard programs.
